Composite Veneers
Composite veneers are similar to traditional porcelain veneers in the way they improve the appearance of your smile and correct imperfections in your teeth. However, this method uses composite resin instead of dental ceramic, and the process is a little different – though still comfortable. Unlike porcelain veneers, which are applied in a single sheet, composite veneers are layered onto the surface of the tooth and then sculpted to create a natural aesthetic. This option is excellent for patients with chipping or discoloration of the natural enamel and is just one of many offerings for smile enhancement. Another major benefit to this option is the convenience. It’s done in one visit and at a lower cost than traditional veneers. Dr. Staller has gone through extensive training to be able to offer this service to her patients.
Lumineers
Lumineers are a brand of dental veneers that are ultra-thin – around the same as a contact lens – and improve the appearance of your smile by correcting cracks, gaps, and chips in your tooth enamel. Lumineers are custom-made and the entire process can be completed in as little as two visits, making them a convenient choice for smile enhancement. Because they are highly translucent, they appear natural and are extremely durable with regular care. Find out if you are a candidate for Lumineers!
Full-Mouth Restorations
Don’t worry if you need a lot of work. Your smile will thank you, especially when you discover the brilliance a full-mouth restoration can uncover. We create an individualized plan of treatment for your full-mouth restoration, and each tooth will be healthier and more beautiful by the end. Your whole smile will feel complete and fabulous, no matter how much or how little work you need. And since the restoration is unique to you, you’ll only have the services you need – there is no one size fits all – approach to our dental services! The best part…all of this can usually be done in as little as two visits!
Crown Lengthening
This treatment is necessary when you require a restoration, but you don’t have enough healthy enamel available. Dr. Staller can alter the tissue near the bone, exposing more enamel above the gum line, creating a more stable foundation for restorations and an even smile. Crown lengthening is part of a wide range of recontouring and reshaping services that demonstrate Dr. Staller’s artistic talent in dentistry.
Gum Recontouring
Does your smile look too gummy? Is the ratio of enamel to gum tissue “off”, making your smile appear less even than it should? By readjusting your gum tissue, Dr. Staller can create a harmoniously balance between teeth and gums, and make your smile look more perfect. Many patients require only a small amount of recontouring, as a little goes a long way in altering your smile. This treatment can also be part of a periodontal therapy plan, as it lessens the gum pockets and makes them easier to clean and aids in treatment of gum disease.
Composite Bonding
Artistry at its finest, composite bonding is one way that Dr. Staller can dramatically improve your smile with just a little touch of her hand. By skillfully sculpting composite resin onto your tooth enamel, Dr. Staller repairs cracked, chipped, gapped, or discolored teeth quickly and easily. She’ll polish the tooth-colored resin so it naturally blends in with your teeth, instantly revitalizing your teeth.
Tooth Recontouring
Even out your smile with a tooth recontouring procedure. We’ll change the size, shape, or length of your teeth by gently removing minimal amounts of tooth enamel. This balances your smile, correcting misaligned or overlapping teeth. Often, this treatment is effective at altering the canine teeth (often referred to as “fang teeth”), which are a common problem, as they can be irregular in length.
Smile Whitening
The popularity of teeth bleaching treatments are on the rise, but how do you know which is most effective? Dr. Staller offers safe, tested, and professional teeth whitening options to brighten your smile and revitalize the sparkle of your pearly whites. Discoloration can result from a variety of causes, including nutrition, lifestyle, medication, and genetics. The whitening process begins in the office, where Dr. Staller shows you how to use the take-home trays and whitening gel. Once treatment is complete, Dr. Staller pulls up the shade guide tooth to compare your current smile to what it was! Reverse the effects of aging, discolored teeth with professional smile whitening treatments from Zarina Staller Dentistry.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are an excellent way to bring a new life to your smile. The veneers are made of porcelain and are cemented in place to cover any stains or unevenness. But Dr. Staller realizes that this is an important and sizable change to your teeth. She will not permanently cement the veneers in place until you are able to see what your teeth look like with the veneers on, and you love it!
Porcelain Inlays/Porcelain Onlays
There are some cases where the area of decay may be too large to restore with a traditional filling. In these circumstances, Dr. Staller may recommend an inlay or onlay restoration. Made from porcelain, these restorations enhance the strength of your teeth, and are more structurally sound than traditional composite fillings. If you have old silver fillings, we can replace them using onlay restorations as well. Onlays extend over the cusps of the teeth to the gum line, while inlays cover the biting surface of the tooth up to the cusps. Ask us if inlay or onlay restorations are right for your current situation!
